Our worship celebrations are Sundays at 11:00 and are held in the Hope Building which is located on the corner of Seigle Avenue and 10th Street.  Please plan a little extra time after service to "hang out" with us.  We'll probably have cookies, juice or coffee.  We'd like to get to know you.

A Worship Service at Seigle Avenue Presbyterian Church is a “come-as-you-are” experience. It doesn’t matter what clothes you wear, just have your heart and your mind in the “open” position. In a church that holds this many diverse voices and faces, while the presence of the Lord is gracing us all, different is definitely good.

For an hour or so you’ll study, learn, sing, be sung to, and live the almighty power of God’s love. You might hear African drums,  powerful gospel sung or you might see children dancing as you find yourself tapping your feet or clapping your hands.  Oh, and you’re likely to hear an “amen” or two. The sermon promises to challenge in your comfort and you’ll always be comforted in your challenges.

We invite you to come and visit. Please say hello at the beginning of the service so we can welcome you. Get and give some hugs if you choose, and worship with the Seigle Avenue Presbyterian Church. We are eager to receive you.

Seigle Youth actively participate in the worship service particularly on the third Sunday of every month.  Youth will sing in the youth choir, perform liturgical dance, read scripture and help with ushering.

Children's Sermon

A children's sermon in incorporated into each worship service and is geared to youth ages 12 and under.

Nursery

A nursery is available for all young children during the 11am worship hour.

Confirmation

Youth ages 11 and up will be asked to participate in a confirmation class each spring to begin a faith statement and deepen their understanding about belonging in the church.
